Surprise Homecoming: New Military Homecoming Show to Debut on TLC

We have all seen the military homecomings at airports across the United States. However, the new TLC reality series Surprise Homecoming will be showing surprise military homecomings starting with a sneak peek on Monday, May 30 at 10PM ET and will be seen regularly sometime in June.

The surprise element is what will make these shows even more special than a normal homecoming by men and women in the service.

I look for this show to be very popular and can’t wait to see the first episode.

Billy Ray Cyrus will be hosting the series and I can imagine how it must be for these families to have their loved ones return unexpectedly.

The Little Couple Returning on TLC

The Little Couple fans will be happy to know that the show will be returning to TLC on Tuesday May 31 at 10PM ET.

For the last few months I had been searching for news on whether the show was returning and kept coming up empty with no info.

To me this is television at its best. Despite fighting obstacles caused by their height, Bill Klein and Jen Arnold have a great sense of humor about life and have the same struggles with day to day living that we all have.

When the last season ended they were in the process of trying to become surrogate parents and building a new house. So it will be interesting to see how things are going now for the couple.

I was beginning to wonder if they were coming back for another season so it was good to know the show is coming back in only 15 days.

American Idol: Lauren Alaina Suddeth Celebrates Special Day, Visits Site of Tornado Damage

This weekend was special for Lauren Alaina Suddeth as she returned to her hometown of Rossville, Georgia.

She participated in homecoming activities after finding out Thursday night that she was in the top three on American Idol.

Lauren went to a baseball game, in which she threw out the first pitch, throwing the ball over the head of the catcher. She also sang God Bless America during the game.

However, in the midst of the celebrating Lauren found time to go to the site of some of the tornado damage.

This article tells how she talked to an 11 year old boy who had been thrown 200 yards which is equivalent to two football fields during the tornado.

You can see the concern on Lauren’s face for the tornado victims.,,20489946,00.html
