Will Early Exit of Pia Toscano Affect American Idol Ratings?

After the shocking departure of Pia Toscano, it will be interesting to see how viewers will react, when it is time to watch American Idol.

Understandably, there should be some viewers, who were hoping Pia would be the next American Idol, who may not even watch the show the rest of the season.

Her early exit raises questions,  of how could the singer with the best technical singing skills, could finish ninth in the singing competition.

People who have favorite singers remaining in the competition, may now feel that the voters are not voting for the best singer, but their favorite singer. If they feel that way, they may not bother to tune in for the remainder of the season.

American Idol made a good move, by switching to Wednesday and Thursday nights, to avoid head to head competition, in the ratings, with Dancing With the Stars.

  1. Yes I was shocked and cried when pia left. I would love to see the percentages for that one if anyone has it please share with me

Well they all damn good at least they alllll deserve to win and can I tell u I think they will all top 8 get record contracts so stop stressing !!

    1. There was no way Pia was the ninth best singer on American Idol. She was the best singer. American Idol has turned into a popularity contest. I liked her a lot and it was a total shock to see her leave the show.

I agree that the final eight will sign recording contracts.
