  1. God gave Elvis an unique voice and talent that no one has been absolutely successful in imitating him. The beauty of his voice on recording backed live by the Jordanaires at his funeral sent shivers all over every one present. When he sang the last line and added ,”My God.My God , How wonderful and how great, hhow very great you are” You felt so awed as if you were almost standing in the Presence of God. Although lots of people can sing it well, no one can completely imitate him, and shouldn’t try to.

  2. Some say Connie Smith did the best job on How Great Thou Art but in my book nobody can come close to his rendition of the song.

Elvis had one of the best voices ever. I have heard he hits a very high note on the song.

Didn’t know you were at his funeral but you weren’t playing for College Drive Baptist then.

You may be the only person I know that saw Elvis backstage.
