This weekend was special for Lauren Alaina Suddeth as she returned to her hometown of Rossville, Georgia.
She participated in homecoming activities after finding out Thursday night that she was in the top three on American Idol.
Lauren went to a baseball game, in which she threw out the first pitch, throwing the ball over the head of the catcher. She also sang God Bless America during the game.
However, in the midst of the celebrating Lauren found time to go to the site of some of the tornado damage.
This article tells how she talked to an 11 year old boy who had been thrown 200 yards which is equivalent to two football fields during the tornado.
You can see the concern on Lauren’s face for the tornado victims.
