Eric Clapton is about to sing the first word of Further On Up The Road when his guitar strap falls off and Robbie Robertson and Rick Danko take over till Clapton regroups and sings the classic song first recorded by Bobby Blue Bland in 1957.

Rock and Roll Greats On Same Stage
Little Richard, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Brown, B.B. King and Bo Diddley take the stage in this video in this rockin’ jam session with several rock and roll greats from an undisclosed location.
This video has been posted before on Nostalgia and Now but is being run again because it is one of the rockingest jam sessions ever.
Those actually at the concert got a treat seeing so many of the rock and roll pioneers on the same stage.
